AUTHORS: 

Jeremy Badgery-Parker worked for the NSW DPI for 16 years. He worked directly with farmers and other industry stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds to assist adoption of better practices in greenhouse and hydroponic vegetable and floriculture production.

Leigh James has thirty three years frontline experience in planning, delivering and assessing extension programs for commercial horticultural producers, particularly vegetable growers in the Sydney basin, with an emphasis on the adoption of Best Ag Practices that realise grower, environmental, food and consumer safety.

Joshua Jarvis is a horticultural consultant, who spent 12 years with the NSW DPI. He has extensive knowledge of protected cropping production systems, encompassing environmental control, crop management and all aspects of production systems.

Dr Sophie Parks is a plant physiologist for the NSW DPI working primarily in the area of greenhouse and hydroponic vegetable production. Her research is aimed at improving the efficiency, quality and sustainability of greenhouse and hydroponic crops in an Australian context.
